If you are a client of this firm, the non-disclosure and confidentiality statement applies. As part of my services to you, my firm collects nonpublic personal information about you from the information on tax preparation worksheets or other forms and records you provide to us. Pursuant to our privacy policy:

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you except as follows:

  • As required or permitted by law;
  • To other persons whose personal information also appears in the tax return (spouses on a jointly filed return, beneficiaries of a trust/estate, individual partners/shareholders of the business as examples);
  • To parents or guardians of minors;
  • As requested by you and only with completed Consent to Disclose Tax Information form prepared by our office and signed by each taxpayer appearing on the tax return pursuant to IRS guidelines. (See attached “Consent to Disclose Tax Information”)

Should you become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this statement. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees and subcontractors who need to know that information to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Federal law requires this consent form be provided to you.

Unless authorized by law, we cannot use, without your consent, your tax return information for purposes other than the preparation and filing of your tax return.
